Nina and Dag celebrating NewYear (or maybe a BIS :-)) Hello and welcome to Nordlibakkens! Our small cattery got its first litter 13. November 2004! Our first NFO was Nemi, back in 2001, and then followed by Queen Aisha the next year. Our first male is from Mar'Michels's in Sweden, named Gazendi Gabor, who became Junior Winner, Distinguished Show Merit and European Champion!!! He has really brightened up our cattery, and is for us the ultimate NFO-male!! Thank You so much Marika!! Our next female came from Europa's in Denmark, named Hildur Dane, thesweetest silver girl ever, and finally Josimo's Vakre Vilma came to us in 2009. She is just fantastic for us, and gives us a lot of joy :-)) Maine breeding points for us is good healthy cats with nice temper, and off course the original Forest Cat-look! Our cats are fully family members and have free access to the entire house in addition to their Catyard.
As You see from the pictures the climate and environment are perfect for NFO's! This is our house here in Bardufoss . The town is situated in Northern Norway, 2 hrs drive from Tromsų. In addition to our cats, the family consists of Nina Henriksen & Dag Ellefsrud (I'm also appointed as Contact-Person for Norwegian Forest Cat Ring /NSR in Northern-Norway), and our son Fredrik (19). He is now in the military, but will start his studies in Tromsų after this summer. As You can see, left on the picture, our cats may be indoors as well as outdoors at all times of the year. Because of the traffic on the E6 nearby they are not allowed to move totally free. You may also see some pictures from "their property" in the "Catyard-site"!
